World-class chess training using renowned Grandmaster Maurice Ashley's revolutionary teaching method. Campers will learn from the Grandmaster as well as from coaches who have been trained in his techniques.
This year's theme is "Mastering Chess Skills". Kids will learn visualization and long-term analysis with a series of drills from GM Ashley's new iPod app "Maurice Ashley Teaches Chess" (purchase is not required). Drills feature ever increasing levels of difficulty to provide continuous challenge. These skills will then be reinforced with new opening, middlegame and endgame training. Afternoons will feature our popular tournament training with game analysis.
