The Richmond, Virginia Summer Chess Camp was a great success. Maymont was a wonderful facility. Campers were able to visit the nature center and enjoyed playing on the beautiful grounds. We enjoyed getting to know each of the campers and seeing everyone's skills improve. The children created two videos, which you can see below. One teaches the basic rules of chess; the other teaches the rules of Bug House, a chess varient.

A big thank you to Peak Experiences for hosting our Friday evening "end of camp" party and rock climbing event. Through a partnership with Peak Experiences children attending the MATCH full or half day camp went rock climbing for free on Friday night. What a great way to celebrate on the last day of camp.
