MATCH is an acronym for Maurice Ashley Trains Champions, a collaborative effort between GM Maurice Ashley and Dr. Teresa Parr. Like all MATCH products and services, the MATCH camp curriculum is based GM Ashley's unique method for developing visualization skills, focus, concentration and coolness under pressure augmented by Dr. Parr's expertise in psychology and education. The curriculum is designed to address the needs of students with diverse learning styles and ability levels. It focuses on improving chess skills while maximizing its potential to help students develop in other areas.
